Why Post-Concussion Rehabilitation

What is a concussion?

Concussions are a type of traumatic brain injury and can change the way our brain functions – causing it to work less optimally. It may be caused by either a direct blow to the head, face, neck, or elsewhere on the body with an “impulsive” force transmitted to the head. Contrary to what many believe – you can suffer a concussion even if you don’t hit your head!
