Priya graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Physiotherapy (2008) and a Bachelor of Exercise Science specialized in Clinical Exercise Physiology (High Distinction, 2006). Priya has completed courses in Active Release Techniques (ART) for Spine and Upper Extremity, Level 1 Acupuncture (AFCI) and Level 1 Manual Therapy. She enjoys learning and continues to take courses to advance her clinical and industry skills. Priya believes strongly in prevention, maintenance and empowering her patients to lead healthy lifestyles and take an active part in their care.
Mario is a Level 3 Fascial Stretch Specialist and movement therapist who specializes working with patients who suffer from chronic and acute pain/stiffness due to injury and postural muscle imbalances in their bodies. He applies his expertise in fascial stretch therapy and rehab exercise to tackle each patients injuries and imbalances with a unique personalized approach. With over 10 years of experience, Mario’s goal has been to change the traditional way that rehabilitation therapy has been approached in the industry. For Mario it is very important to personalize and modify each patients treatment plan. Identifying postural dysfunctions and mobility restrictions while creating a safe individualized exercise program to improve muscle imbalances, prevent future injuries and movement deficiencies.
Jonathan has a diploma in Fitness and Health promotion, a Bachelor's in Kinesiology, and most recently graduated with honours from Sheridan College with a Bachelor's in Athletic Therapy. He enjoys working sporting events and helping athletes before and after they get injured. He believes strongly in injury prevention, and utilizes various manual and corrective exercise techniques to help prevent from future aches and pains bringing you down.
Sammy graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science. He began his career as a personal trainer but since then has focused on rehabilitation and pain-free movement. He has certifications in Functional Range Release (FR), Fascial Stretch Therapy and McGill Methods. He believes that a pain-free life is accomplished through identifying bad habits, teaching proper movement and maintenance through training and therapy. Currently studying Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College.
Kendyl graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (2018), and a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from Acadia University (2016). Kendyl has completed her Level 1 Manual Therapy Exam, and is looking forward to continuing education in manual therapy and other courses. Kendyl was the student therapist for the Acadia Women’s Basketball and Rugby teams from 2014-2016 and enjoys continuing to work with athletes. Kendyl strives to provide individualized patient centred care, focusing on the prevention, treatment, and life-long management of health and injuries.
Gena obtained her Masters of Science of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University, and her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Gena uses a combination of manual therapy, personalized exercise programming and education to empower her patients to reach their full physical potential. She aims to build resilience within her patients to take care of their bodies and take an active role in their care. Gena has completed her Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification and plans to further her education in manual therapy, acupuncture and concussion management in the next few years. She is passionate about running and is working to gain more expertise in all things running-related.
